Artist’s Statement

Much of my work oscillates between the simple joy of capturing beautiful things for their own sake and urge to make lasting memorials to the people, places, and truths that give life its meaning. When I am not reveling in the rich textures, colors, and edge qualities of my subjects, I am reaching back through history in search of a visual language to communicate larger thoughts about life, faith, and human relationships.       Contact Elisabeth
